Ayurveda Cooking Weekends
Upcoming dates:
10 & 11 October 2026
9 & 10 January 2027
Hosted at The Mindful Kitchen headquarters in Hebden Bridge (West Yorkshire), these wholesome, hands-on weekends are designed to inspire and empower you in the kitchen - perfect for anyone curious about Ayurvedic cooking but unsure where to begin.
Ayurveda offers us guidance for nutrition, lifestyle, and living well. It’s the oldest healing system in the world, yet its principles are unchanging and remain highly relevant today. During our weekend together we will learn to apply the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and how to create simple seasonal meals that you can easily recreate in your kitchen at home.
If you’re seeking inspiration, tools and practical guidance to bring more nourishment into your life, this weekend is for you.

“Everyone can learn from Bex - she’s knowledgeable, organised, calm and friendly. The Ayurvedic Cooking Weekend helped me to understand the basics around body composition types as well as practically making recipes for everyday meals which we enjoyed eating as a group. I’ve made friends I never knew existed and now have a base from which to venture into the world of Ayurvedic cookery. This weekend will stay with me for a long time to come.” ~ Linda, Cooking Weekend Participant
“Bex made the whole experience really accessible and managed to communicate the very essence of Ayurvedic nutrition in really straightforward terms and gave us the tools to take away and apply in our lives on a daily basis. Anyone interested in Ayurvedic principles and applying them through individualised daily nutrition will love this course. I highly recommend Bex and this course, it was a joy!” ~ Alison, Cooking Weekend Participant
“I had such a lovely weekend with Bex. From the moment I arrived, she made everyone feel so welcome and created such a relaxed, supportive atmosphere. The weekend was full of delicious, nourishing food, but it was so much more than just cooking. Bex has a wonderful way of sharing the principles of Ayurveda in a way that's easy to understand and put into practice. I came away feeling inspired, refreshed and excited to make small changes at home.” ~ Emma, Cooking Weekend Participant
