Ayurveda Cooking Weekends

Upcoming dates: 21-22 March 2026

Hosted at The Mindful Kitchen headquarters in Hebden Bridge (West Yorkshire), these wholesome, hands-on weekends are designed to inspire and empower you in the kitchen - perfect for anyone curious about Ayurvedic cooking but unsure where to begin.

Ayurveda offers us guidance for nutrition, lifestyle, and living well. It’s the oldest healing system in the world, yet its principles are unchanging and remain highly relevant today. During our weekend together we will learn to apply the basics of Ayurvedic nutrition and how to create simple meals that you can easily recreate in your kitchen at home.

If you’re seeking inspiration, tools and practical guidance to bring more nourishment into your life, this weekend is for you.

What to expect…

  • Saturday & Sunday 9.30am-4.30pm
(with a two-hour break each day to explore the town or enjoy downtime)

  • Simple Ayurvedic breakfasts, lunches, dinners, snacks, and digestive remedies. We’ll enjoy two meals a day, plus snacks & drinks.

The food will be organic, sourced locally and from ethical suppliers, and mostly plant-based (with the exception of ghee).

  • Learn practical cooking skills and how to stock your pantry with essential spices and ingredients, and discover easy recipes and nutrition tips to take into everyday life.

  • Learn how to recognise the signs of imbalance (unique to everyone), and how to bring daily balance with diet and lifestyle.

  • Connect and learn from in-depth time with Bex from The Mindful Kitchen and in community with others on their cooking and wellbeing journey.
